FG Unveils Digital Platform for Streamlined Public Service Access

The Federal Government, through its digital infrastructure provider, Galaxy Backbone, has launched the Government Service Portal (GSP) in collaboration with the Korea International Cooperation Agency.

According to a statement on Wednesday by the Head of Media and Corporate Communications at Galaxy Backbone, Chidi Okpala, the initiative will enhance government-to-citizen interactions and improve access to public services across the nation.

The GSP is designed as a unified digital platform that streamlines access to public services, enabling citizens to interact seamlessly with multiple government agencies without the need for in-person visits.

Galaxy Backbone stated that the launch was marked by a high-level workshop with representatives from 12 key government agencies, aimed at driving the first phase of this project.

According to the agency, the initiative will facilitate access to critical services such as National Identification Number registration, immigration services, and healthcare, among others.
