Promotion of sustainable development, trade, investments and regional stability took the centre stage in yesterday’s talks between Presidents Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The two leaders held a high-level bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the 2025 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW2025) in Abu Dhabi.
A message posted by the President on his verified X handle, @officialABAT, said the meeting aimed at reinforcing the growing relationship between both countries.
It covered several key areas of mutual interest. Both leaders explored opportunities to further enhance economic ties, foster innovation and boost collaborative efforts beneficial to both nations.
In his brief on the engagement, Tinubu highlighted the UAE’s role as a vital partner to Nigeria, underscoring the importance of the bilateral discussions in advancing strategic partnerships.
He further disclosed that the discussions focused on all key pillars for ensuring long-term prosperity. The ADSW provided a platform for both nations to reaffirm their commitment to global sustainability efforts.
