The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has announced the launch of a new strategic framework called “GROW Nigerian” to drive job creation and boost revenue across the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sector in the country.
Director-general of SMEDAN, Charles Odii, who disclosed this in Abuja explained that the initiative, which stands for Guidance, Resources, Opportunities, and Workforce Support (GROW), is designed to provide a comprehensive support system for small businesses.
“This strategy is our theory of change by providing the right combination of guidance, tools, market access, and workforce development, we believe Nigerian MSMEs can overcome persistent obstacles and unlock their full growth potential.” he said.
According to the DG, the GROW Nigerian blueprint will offer structured mentorship, business advisory services, and regulatory guidance to help MSMEs navigate operational hurdles.
