Paint manufacturers in Nigeria are intensifying efforts to secure more affordable raw materials by pursuing regional partnerships and alternative sourcing strategies.
This renewed drive comes as stakeholders in the coatings industry converge at the West Africa Coatings Show, which opens today in Lagos.
Organised by dmg events in collaboration with the Paint Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (PMA), the three-day exhibition is expected to provide a strategic platform for manufacturers to connect with international suppliers, explore alternative inputs, and engage in technical and commercial dialogue aimed at reducing production costs.
The Chairman of PMA, Abimbolu Babatunde, highlighting the importance of the event stated, “It marks an important milestone in our continued efforts to introduce our members to new solutions, raw materials and global best practices.
“Our collaboration with dmg events has been both strategic and timely, and we are confident that this platform will serve as a catalyst for growth, innovation and knowledge exchange across the coatings industry in West Africa.”
