CAC Defers New Fees to October for Smooth Rollout

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has once again pushed back the implementation of its revised service fees, setting a new date of October 1, 2025.

In a statement released at the weekend, the Commission said the deferment was necessary to allow for the full stabilisation of its upgraded company registration portal, which is expected to be completed by mid-September.

“Consequently, and in order to deliver optimum value to its various stakeholders, the Commission has further deferred the implementation of the revised fees for its services. The new fees will now come into effect on 1st October, 2025,” the CAC said.

The agency explained that the decision reflects its commitment to ensuring a smooth transition into the new service regime.

“This decision reflects the Commission’s strong determination to ensure that the transition into the new regime of services is seamless, efficient, and beneficial to all. The Commission sincerely appreciates the patience, understanding and cooperation of our customers and other stakeholders during this critical phase of transformation.”

The CAC management reiterated that it is fully committed to building an “intelligent, customer-centric registry that meets global standards.
