The Greater Manchester Business Fair held its annual business exhibition and business support today at the AJ Bell Stadium in Salford, FinIntell reports.
Organisers of the event, Liverpool Business Associations, an organisation which helps and supports small companies, said the twelfth edition of the fair was put together for businesses wishing to showcase their products and services, increase their profile, and make connections with the Greater Manchester business community.
“This one-day b2b exhibition and support day is an ideal way to make connections and gain information to grow your business,” Pat Hughes, a member of the organising association said, adding that whether your enterprise is big or small, well-established, or even just an idea, Greater Manchester Business Fair offers benefit from a range of complimentary features to support and grow your business.
The event which showcased opportunities for businesses to connect and grow their investments included various programmes of useful business workshops, one-to-one clinics and a networking session as well as the business-to-business (B2B) exhibition.
Great Experience
Many participants at the fair were able to source new suppliers or partners, view product demonstrations, discover new services, and even maximise advantage of special offers and on the day prizes and promotions at the exhibition showcasing over 50 companies and organisations.
There were free networking sessions at the event where many participants made new business contacts and caught up with familiar faces.
Valuable Business Information
Some participant told FinIntell that they gained valuable business information, ideas and insights from experts who spoke at the various seminars and workshops.
The Home Office Future Borders and Immigration System (FBIS) External Engagement Team, led by Lee Graham, shared an introduction to Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) and further roll out of e-Visas.
Kanika Selvan, a Director at Beetroot Consulting, spoke on how to make savvy choices about business’ technical products that will enable businesses enjoy long term performance.
Other speakers at the fair include motivational speaker Susie Greatbanks of Show the Light Limited who spoke on the power of appreciation; Adele Lochman, the Assistant Head of Apprenticeships at the University of Salford, who taught that upskilling ones team is an investment and not an expense; Katherine Barr, University of Salford Business Innovation Services Team, explain how businesses can engage with universities and get mutual benefits.
Stephen Solademi, Managing Director, SOS Creativity, revealed insider SEO tips on how to rank number one on Google search engine;Andy Guile, Master Coach and Trainer at Ask Andy Guile, gave insights on personality types; while Ian Nicklin, Managing Director, IN Business Ninjas, educated participants on how to generating more business through LinkedIn.
